Key: C
Time: 3/4

2 3 2 1 2 3 -3 3
A-mid the ros-es Mar-y sits
 3 -1 2 -22 -1 2
and rocks her Je-sus Child,
  -3 2 1* -1 2 -2* 2
While a-mid the tree tops,
  3 3 -2* 2 -1*2 -2* 2
sighs the breeze so warm and mild.
 2 1 2 3 -3 3
And soft and sweet-ly,
 -1 2 -2 2 -1 2 -3 3
sings a bird up-on the bow
4 -4 2 -3 1 -2 -1 1
Ah ba-by, dear one, slum-ber now.

 3 2 1 2 3 -3 3
Hap-py is Thy laugh-ter,
-1 2 -22 -1 2 -3 3
Ho-ly is Thy si-lent rest
 3* -1* 1 1*-1*-2 -1*
Lay Thy head in slum-ber,
 3 3 -2 -2 -1 -1* 1
Fond-ly on Thy mo-ther's breast
4 -4 2 -3 3 1 -2 -1 1
Ah Ba-by dear one, slum-ber now
